Augusta Hitching Post LLC is a family owned and operated business. I started as a small cottage industry in 2002 working out of my home. In spring, 2004, we built a garage in our back yard. Our home was no longer fit because we were invaded with product and the fragrances were getting the best of us.(to much of a good thing - isn't always good) I was selling at craft shows and to family and friends. In 2005, I started wholesaling to businesses. I also did several local fundraiser events. In May, 2006, we purchased a retail store and opened our doors in June. Augusta Hitching Post had turned from a hobby into a business.

 

I am very thankful to the Lord for all He has done in my life. He has given me 2 wonderful sons, a successful business, and a marriage of 26 years. I simply would not have had the energy, time, wisdom, knowledge, or understanding in myself to accomplish all that has been done.
